The NBA Christmas games
Well, I spent my Christmas watching NBA.
Man I have no life
Knicks Bucks
The game was pretty close up until the half, with Kevin Knox making some key passes and shots, but Giannis wanted a blowout and did a blowout, and completely took over starting halfway through the third.
After that it became a little bit boring, as no one on the Knicks was willing to become a playmaker.
FINAL SCORE: 109-95 Bucks win
My prediction: Bucks win by 21 points
Amount of points earned: 1
Total points: 1
Thunder Rockets
Thunder had a great lead, with Harden always taking the ball out and Iso-ing. Then later on, Harden and Rivers led a run, leading 9 points towards the end. Paul George tried to come back, but Harden made a nice floater to seal the game up, and they won by four points.
FINAL SCORE: 109-113 Rockets win
My prediction: Thunder win by six points
Amount of points earned: 0
Total points:1
Celtics 76ers
A great game to watch taht went OT.
Sixers deserved to win this one, as they were playing solid, when they turned into a sloppy mess, something untucked Kyrie Irving took advantage off. He went off, making tough shot after tough shot and eventually made the clutch shot to have the game OT. He then dominated and took over in OT.
FINAL SCORE: 121-114 Celtics win
My prediction: 76ers win by 11 points
Amount of points earned: 0
Total points: 1
Cavs Warriors
OMG I ACTUALLY WROTE CAVS WARRIORS XD
Lakers Warriors
This is the first matchup of the season, despite them being in the same division.
The Lakers definitely started out strong, with Kuzma and all taht doing good.
They always had the lead at double digits....until the third quarter, where LeBron james suffers a minor Groin injury...
That's when I was like praying for them to just keep the lead alive.
Then Curry started making some Threes, Iguodala started going off, and KD made a lot of jumpers.
Great!!!
They chopped down the lead to two points, until Rondo came in and decided to just take the game in his control, making lots of passes and driving hard. They had a nice burst, and Lance finished off the third quarter with a deep and big three.
In the Fourth Quarter, Rondo and Kuzma led and kept the lead alive, eventually turning the game into a blowout, embarrassing the warriors so hard, and keeping weakness.
After watching BBall Breakdown's video on it, I realized that Luke Walton's plans into this game was magnificent. It was basically to guard tightly the four all-stars, and ignore the fifth player, which was iguodala or Looney. This worked out effectively, as it caused many turnovers and sloppy shots.
FINAL SCORE: 127-101 Lakers win
My prediction: Warriors win by 13 points
Amount of poitns earned: 0
Total points: 1
Blazers Jazz
I got sick of watching basketball for an entire day lol
FINAL SCORE: 117-96 Jazz win
My prediction: Jazz win by 2 points
Amount of points earned: 1
Total points: 2
My goal was to get 7 points...
I GOT 2 POINTS.
sigh
Lyric(s) of the Post:Happy New Year
Well, I spent my entire winter break practically brain-dead. rip
ReplyDeleteThe game was pretty close, thanks to Kevin Knox of the Knicks knocking out key shots.
hey your thunder vs rocket's prediction was pretty close
RIP Celtics
LOL you subconsciously made yourself type cavs warriors
you must be very aggravated about the fan rivalry
ok, from reading your summary, here is my even smaller summary-of-a-summary:
Lakers were starting off well
Lebron's pistachios got destroyed (but in a minor fashion)
Then curry started doing his thing, and the score is nearly evened
Until some Laker bois make a comeback
Luke Walton is a genius
And the warriors have been drowned in the lake
Blazers Jazz...sounds like a band name with a lot of z's in it
Maybe "Jazzy Blazers" LOL
good job you got 2 points clap clap
life is always very rewarding (not)
lol 2 points though
Deletejazzy blazers.. that sounds cool
