  freshmen, fall freshmen, winter freshmen, spring sophomore, fall sophomore, winter sophomore, spring junior, fall junior, winter This is the last time I'm writing these wrap up posts, and it's gonna not feel the same because I've kept this routine up throughout my entire undergrad. These are more than just wrapping up each quarter of college, they're honestly like life updates. I'm wondering should I keep them up once I begin working, and if so should I do it in like quarter segments too? There's no natural breakpoints like there are in university.  So high school graduation happened like 3 weeks ago, so I'm really late. But here I am. I thought we'd be sitting there for 3 hours cuz that's what it felt like when my sister was graduating. But like after all the speeches, all the name calling kinda blew by and I wasn't that bored. So when I walked up that stage, idk it started to feel really surreal. I started to get nervous, and I legit don't even remember that much what it was like walking thru that stage and everything. I was like.... "dang." It doesn't hit until you slowly progress and walk on that stage. I made sure to hvae Mr. Pagtakhan announce my name as "Wilson X-I-E" with spelling out my last name which was funny cuz I always say that in presentations or everything, notably in multivar class, ppl know me as Wilson ex-eye-ee. OK but anyway, I haven't posted about life in a while, so here's some stuff that happened, stuff that I havent mentioned before. It's pretty amazing to be going into college with this blog that I started in 6th grade. It's actually really crazy, June 1st was the 6 year anniversary of my first post. It's been 6 years of this, and I'm pretty sure that there will be another 6 years to come. Imagine I still have this blog in my 30s. That will be honestly such an accomplishment.   Alright, here's a blog post about my senior ball.  So ours was May 6th, between AP exam weeks, in the SF City Hall. It didn't really register to me that we were going there until the day actually came. I was like "WOW, SF City Hall!!" That's pretty cool, to say that I've been in the SF City Hall. I've walked by it many times coming out of the bart station nearby, and that whole building and the plaza surrounding it is so iconic. The trees with the lights and the flags man.   So the AVHS band program last year announced a band-wide trip to NYC to perform at Carnegie Hall last year. Back then, I didn't have this aspiring love for geography. This was before I took AP Human Geo. I did some quizzes on sporcle and everything and memorized the 50 states and all the countries, but I never cared about cultural landscapes on the level that I do now. I remember thinking "dang, that's really cool." I really wanted to visit the East Coast back then, but who would've thought that this was just perfect. A trip with my friends to literally the best city in the world, where we have tons of free time and at the same time, don't even have to plan much. It's kind of a dream vacation.
