2024 January new music

Starting 2024, I'm gonna start a monthly series for new music that comes out, primarily EDM of course. Introduction  As for the first month of this series, let's set some expectations. I think that this year won't be an "iconic" or "elite" year for EDM. I think it could be worse than 2023. But I also think that there are some interesting artists to look out for, like Skybreak, Haywre, THIRST, Tsu Nami, JeongHyeon. But it's def not comforting knowing that we're fresh out of a year with album releases from Skrillex, Owl City, Au5, Chainsmokers, Midnight Kids, Man Club, Chime, Jvna, Emei ... and these artists likely will be on tour or taking this year to work on new music or a break or whatever. Madeon even established this year to be the "gap era" where he will release one song in February and take the rest of the year to dip out and work on new music and find inspiration and stuff. So yeah, nonetheless, EDM will always be thriving, as th

It's finally here, it only took like 9 hours for them to process, we have our  https://www.last.fm/user/wizwilzo/listening-report/year  last.year.  I'll (maybe) be referring to these posts to make some comparisons throughout this post: 2022 last.year post 2021 last.year post 2020 last.year post [apparently i didnt make a 2019 post] 2018 last.year post Let's dive into it.  Right off the bat, our scrobbles are back to average. A big reason for this is that in 2022 I did a ton of traveling to Europe and to Philadelphia, but this year I got a very average amount of scrobbles I would say. Here's the last.fm graph: Now: There's a LOT to go on here. 2023 was the year I discovered bizarrap, 2023 was the year Coco Moon released. Those are two big things that defined my 2023, of course theres sooo much more too.      Let's start off on artist. I knew Owl City would top it off because of the new album which I really enjoy despite critics absolutely ripping it to pieces.

Here we go, 1-week+ into winter break chilling man. IT FEELS GREAT TO BE HOME.  So let's wrap-up the quarter before we forget more and more and these memories fade away. I'm anticipating this to be a relatively big post. Academics I took 3 classes this quarter. One required, one math, and one CS.  JRLC 01 My freshmen first quarter required core class was every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 - 9:35AM. This was quite a journey. For one, I didn't miss or skip a SINGLE class. Which is crazy because like there was a point in the quarter where half of the class would show up. I did walk in 1 HOUR LATE one time because my alarm messed up but I'm glad I did because it ended up working out cuz I participated in class and got the attendance. Lots of times you can just send her an email the day before and say you have a headache or say that you're sick or something but I somehow managed to make it to every class. I would just wake up at like 7:40 and show up 10 min late or what
