The PPIE run

Image
Welcome to the PPIE run, where people run for free stuff. Basically it's "run for education" and stuff. I signed up for the 10 kilometer event because I'm a long distance runner, and I've been practicing(i hate to say the word training) for it ever since. They gave us stuff before the race started. All of the items were in this sweet cinch bag. Inside the cinch bag are a bunch of ads but there is also some cool stuff. I had to wake up at 6:30 and pick up two of my friends(kevin and marvin) who were both doing 5k. I got to the alameda county fair and went straight to the starting line since the 10k started at 7:50. It was hecka stressful standing there.  Throughout the course there were signs saying "MILE 1" MILE 1: This mile went through a street and basically was a path to Bernal Park, and about a quarter through the run to Bernal Park was a sign with Mile 1. I went at a jogging-ish pace and was pretty much in th

If you're in any HP music program, you were gone for a three day field trip thing. We left to disneyland in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning and returned at 5 on Saturday. It was honestly a really fun trip. (some of these pictures Josh sent to me) DAY 1, Wednesday      When I got at Harvest Park at 7:10, I realized that I forgot to put a luggage tag, so I went into the office and gathered scraps of paper and taped them together to form a neat little luggage tag. Afterwards, I realized that I was the second one in my chaperone group after Mihir. I met my chaperone who seemed pretty nice and waited for everyone to come before going to the bus. Josh and I forgot our instruments halfway through our march. After arriving to the bus, I listened to like three episodes of Pull up by CJ Mccollum where he talked about the MVP race, mental health, and more. At the end of each podcast is a segment where Cj talks and reviews wine. He mentions a lot of brands. After I had enough, I tr

Crazy NBA day

Dirk and Wade's last home games crawford 51 point game magic stepping down paul george game winner Jamal Crawford is 39, and decided to sign with the Suns last summer instead of ring chasing. In the beginning of the season he got a  gamewinner  as the guest. Today though, this old guy put up 51 POINTS. It wasn't his last game or anything, so the other team was not letting him. The 51 points makes Jamal Crawford the oldest player to score 50+ points, topping Michael Jordan and the first player to score 50 points on four different teams. He also added five assists and five rebounds. Two records! Incredible performance, topping an all-time great. Yesterday was also coincidentally Dirk Nowitzki and Dwayne Wade's last home games. More coincidental was the fact that the same two players would be playing their last game today on a back to back. Both guys scores 30 points, and Dirk Nowitzki broke Michael Jordan's record of oldest player to score 30

"Congratulations" by Pewdiepie

After T-series passed Pewdiepie in the long lasting battle with a large margin, Pewdiepie teamed up with Roomie and Boyinaband to produce and make a pretty great song. The structure is like this opener chorus verse chorus 1 1/2 verse Dramatic piano bridge chorus I love the beginning, as Boyinaband brings in a patriotic-themed trumpet synth. Then the chorus comes booming with a beat lead in, and it's such a happy tune. You realize that it's just a teaser as it only loops once before it goes into the verse. While pewdiepie sings with a heavy amount of auto-tune, there's a hollow digital analog 90's synth.  Pewdiepie says "yea you did it. very niice"(reminds me of timothy) Some parts are awkward with lyric overflows. For the "for legal reasons that's a joke" part it's decent and flows. Another series comes as Pewdiepie continues singing. Then the chorus comes and it only loops once before BANG
