My story

  So where do I start. This summer, I'm a graduated high school senior with seriously no obligations and stresses. It's been pretty crazy honestly, just this feeling that I've longed for for so long, for this entire school year. There were so many times, especially when I was studying for multivar, where I was just like... MAN!!!! SET ME FREE FROM THIS!!! Like don't get me wrong, second semester chill definitely had tons of elements of like freedom and zero stress because there really is highly minimal stress, but there would always be something on my mind. My economics teacher would do some wild sh*t, or I would have homework from music theory, or a project that I haven't started.  But yeah, apart from that, that basically left me with the premise of getting a job this summer. I wanted a job specifically in like the food/drink service, excluding boba, or a grocery store service. SO like jamba juice, whole foods, trader joes was super ideal for me. You'll see wh...

  There's a heat wave in California. There were a lot of others earlier this year in Europe and Middle East and stuff. But we get one too :D Today was the day when I just felt the impact the most, which is what inspired me to write this. I woke up today and I just felt dizzy. It was just so hot and waking up in such a hot environment is so unpleasing it's crazy. It wasn't anything serious but I just felt horrible. Additionally, when I drive to school I have to get my AC up to almost max and stuff which drains the battery of an ELECTRIC CAR WHICH USES A TON OF ENERGY TO CHARGE WHICH IS BAD BECAUSE ENERGY COSTS A LOT. This will all end very soon, like 3-4 days it will go back to normal. But this is like the first heat wave I experienced, where its just 100+ consistently, and 100+ at 7 PM. So yeah, kind of cool.  Dear my back,      It was May 1, 2022, and I hurt you. It was  my first time going to the gym in 2 years , and my first time deadlifting in my lifetime, and I went too hard. Two days later, the consequences came in, as I felt more and more immobile. It felt extremely uncomfortable to stand for long, and I just couldn't do so many physical activities in general. I can't describe the pain that I felt that week, not only physically but mentally.      Although bengay lotion helped, I still couldn't run or workout anymore. It was so painful to sleep. So many other aspects of my life were just interrupted and halted. You wouldn't think it would be that way. Dear my back,      I learned a lesson, and this will never happen again.   This shoudl NOT be a hot take.  ANDROID:  Google Assistant which can match any song that you play, including HUMMING. You can literally hum a tune to it and it will pop up with a match fairly consistently. Can siri do that?  Yesterday afternoon, I went to Fitness 19 for the first time since like 2020. I was kind of scared because back when I used to go, there wouldn't be people of my age. Now, lots of people I know go to 19 which is going to be so awkward.  Anyway, when I first walked in, everything was the same. There were some changes in the layout in some parts but the general sections all are the same. Same colors and floors and everything.  SO first thing I did was walk straight to the weights section because I didn't want to look stupid finding a machine. I ended up doing like 4 supersets of bicep before moving on to leg extension and leg press. THe main perks of a gym are the MACHINES. OMG they are 100x more effective than home exercises. Man it felt good to feel my legs burn effortlessly. Those machines are so chill too cuz ure just sitting down. Speed wordle is a pretty addicting game( https://squabble.me ). I hate how the school wifi blocked it after like 3 days. Anyway, pretty much the only way to optimise the game is to use a starting set of 4 words, that way you cover 4*5 = 20 letters with your first 4 guesses.  Here's an example. Sometimes this strategy is hit or miss. The word here is "triad." The starting set on the left covers it better than the starting set on the right STRATEGY #1 (worst) Dumps Whole Tangy Brick It's an ok strategy, but it's generally the worst and doesn't compare to the other two strategies.   I'm starting to lose blog post ideas, but anyway, here's a pretty cool school update. Ever since the start of the school year, there was construction near the back of the school for a new building. I thought this would take like 2 years to build and I never really processed the idea that I would be in the new building for some reason. I just saw it as random construction. Anyway, around two weeks before two of my classes moved to the new building, my physics teacher announced it.   I've had this google keep note for a while. Let's check off this box. Boxel Rebound  - Basically lower quality geometry dash. When clicking the icon it releases a small gameplay window embeded on google chrome meaning you can play the game conveniently on any tab. It's a great extension to have when waiting for something to load or when you don't want to pay attention in class Cloudy Calculator  - As described, this is a very versatile calculator. It has a ton of commands and it has the same convenient popup window embedded in Google Chrome just like boxel rebound. If you want a calculator extension, this is the one.   LETSGOOOOOOOOO Today at like 10:20 AM, I left campus to take my driving test at 11:00 AM.  I brought all the documents I need to bring and felt very prepared. The day before, I practiced the route with my dad and also looked over where to park. I chose the stoneridge DMV because I heard that it's significantly easier/shorter than the other DMV. The test itself was pretty smooth. I'm really proud of myself for maintaining a good speed under the speed limit and my lane switches were very decisive and controlled. Right off the bat on the right turn where I exit the mall I forgot to stop on the red light -_- The thing is that it's literally a habit for me to stop behind the line and then roll over, but I was just that nervous. After I realized i f***ed up, I just told myself to not think about it. The rest was great, I was just super consistent and honestly just drove really good all-around. I started having so much fun with my beats. Pentapping is just so fun/addicting in general. Today, I can now say that I'm like really good at this. I know so many drum loops and I can incorporate triplets into my beats seamlessly. Overall, the beats are just getting fire. As I'm getting more advance, practicing pentapping becomes less and less effective. I have to look at other people(lenstrumental, shane bang) and observe their beats/technique. This can be very hard sometimes if they zoomed out on their hands or if the beat is super fast. I really wonder how lenstrumental reached his level. He had nothing to refer to.   I started playing geometry dash in like 8th grade. I began by beating Press Start  in the SubZero app, which took 700 tries. I didn't know what the use of practice mode was LOL. I grinded that so much during disneyland lm*o. Anyway, here I am now. I play during school if I have time, and I've comfortably beaten electrodynamyx. Next up are the demons.
