Spotify Wrapped 2023

Image
Alright it's November 29th and idk why Spotify feels the need to push it out so early but here we are. Apparently they stop tracking stats towards spotify wrapped after October 31st which is sooo ridiculous.  Let's paste some screenshots and react like always: Very cool, like always they prolly categorize electro house, future bass, glitch hop, etc. all into "Gamin EDM" which is kinda dumb but at least last.fm gets it right. I didn't think about what would be my top song, prob would've guessed Thunderstruck. But something about this song being #1 caught me a bit off guard lmao, cuz like I never thought of Sit like a Flamingo to be of this caliber. It's a fire song tho bro I remember watching this story and literally getting fazed out a bit. I thought that Musician would be higher but yea this was kinda expected lmao these are all songs that I never get sick of and have been consistent in my oc rotation and look to stay this way in the future. This was to

the TSAR | Introduction

Around 3 weeks ago I watched the eras tour film in theaters with my mom. The last 3 weeks have been very transformative. The last 3 weeks I've been in my Taylor Swift obsession. And this leads me to here: Taylor Swift Artist Review (TSAR) No artist has ever had more than 1 post in the Artist Review. I never even thought about it. But Taylor Swift is such a global phenom with such a wide discography, history, and storylines, and I seriously have to split it up into different posts. So this is your outline, this is your table of contents, for the TSAR. Introduction        - Swift's EDM-infused rankings        - Predicted Album Ranking        - Other general info Album Review - Taylor Swift Album Review - Speak Now Album Review - Folklore Album Review - Evermore Album Review - Midnights Album Review - Red Album Review - Lover Album Review - 1989 Album Review - Fearless Album Review - Reputation Conclusion        - Final Album Ranking        - Top 10 favorite songs        - TBD Swi

switching to davinci video editor

If I were to define my Thanksgiving break in 52 seconds, it would be through this:  https://www.instagram.com/reel/C0HNJMnxFhF/ I spent 2.5 hours filming, then around 8-9 hours editing this video throughout thanksgiving break. And I don't regret one bit at all. This is a masterpiece. I love this and I'm so proud of it. That's really how I view it. There's one transition that still feels kinda sus but like man I'm so happy with how this turned out. So anyway I wanted to make this quick post to talk about my transition from WeVideo to davinci video editor. I've been using WeVideo premium since our school district gives that to us for free, and it's been working pretty well. But I knew that it is limiting and that eventually I'd have to switch to a better video editor, but I was really just too lazy to. And after I graduated from high school and my PUSD acc got deleted, I don't have WeVideo premium anymore, so then came then inevitable and I picked up

thanksgiving turkey run 2023

So this is my first race since  ppie 2023 . I skipped the halloween one cuz I was in college with a midterm. So originally I was planning on going with Ashwin Allen Joshua and my dad, but Josh tells me he hurt his hip at like 1 AM and then Ashwin says he's sore at like 3 AM so then Allen says he doesnt wanna come at 6 AM. 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃 So theres like no way all 3 of them have a valid excuse realistically speaking but like idrc man its just htat i had to wake 30 extra min early for nothing now. Here's how the run went. It went better htan I thought: Mile 1: I started off pretty fast but it didn't feel that bad. When I hit the 1 mile mark strava told me that my first mile in was like 8:06 so I was like "DANG that didnt feel that fast" Mile 2-4: These next 3 miles literally FLEW by for some reason. I remember when I hit mile 3 and mile 4 I was just like "huh, that didnt feel that far" but I guess I was just super enveloped in the music or something but th

Geoguessr dump part 1 (North America)

Image
Hi,  So throughout the course of my blog, I don't have a single one dedicated to geoguessr. I mention it in some posts, but like it's ABOUT TIME to just make a geoguessr post where that's the sole focus. Right now it's 11/18/23, I peaked at Champion division ranking (1104) rating: https://imgur.com/a/fMjVmvH But I dropped back to master division at around 1,000 rating cuz mainly it was bound to happen, but also I get easier opponents for the weekly series so I'll take it. Nonetheless, I still call myself a chamionship division player. I've definitely proved that, when I'm playing in my bag I make some really nice calls in general.  My strongest countries as of the moment is probably Canada, then Brazil, Australia, Kenya, South Africa, Italy, Malaysia, and USA I guess. I"m mainly super good at Brazil cuz I memorized all 67 regional phone codes in that country, my most ambitious geoguessr project, though looking back, it wasn't even that bad. I'm

Crying in college

Image
Hey,  Here I am, for the second time . I'm inclined to, I have an impulse to... open up this blog and just write. There's something inside me that just makes it feel whole and sane.  It's 1:43 AM and this is the first time I've cried in a while. I'm pretty sure it's the first time I've cried since college started.  These past two days I've been watching a lot of taylor swift and live performances on youtube. Some notable ones are Style ,  ME! ,  Artist of the Decade , to name a few. I've just been going down small spirals and rabbit holes that lead me to so many destinations. I've never been through a phase like this before, I'm not sure when this phase will die down a bit. But anyway, I'm in my dorm right now and I just think about "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift. Once because my sister said it was her favorite song, and twice because Taylor said that it's her most emotional song in the vogue interview. So here I was, openi

BIG music and EDM update!

Image
Hi guys, last time I made a music update or like a playlist review was serious ages ago. There's this huge gap of music that I haven't like written out on this blog, and it's pretty big, like 2 years long or something. SO I can't cover like everything, and it's definitely very overwhelming to try. So I'm just going to try to sink into a writers block and whip out some bullet points of some great music I've been listening to in the past year or so. Notable Artists I'm gonna begin by just namedropping a whole list of artists I've been attracted to. Artists that I won't mention in this blog post jeonghyeon, Wave Racer, Zedd, Bad Computer, NOTD, Asher Postman, Stessie, ellis, AIKA, Hyper Potions, MYLK, Aiobahn, SGNLS, Daniel Levi, Infowler, skybreak, MILES, Trivecta, Prince Wood, RetroVision, Vicetone, Kavinsky, Tokyo Machine, Man Club, Ezra Hazard, INZO, Seven Lions, Flay!, Airuei, duumu, bxchii, ROY KNOX, Panda Eyes, KOTONOHOUSE, Half an Orange, Ni
