It's throwback thursday! So basically during classtoday, we watch this thing called "HPTV" which basically these kids just talk about what's going on in the school. Boring stuff. ANYWAY. before it actually started, they always have this short clip on loop. I remember in the beginning of sixth grade last year, they had this weird one, which they changed. So they played this today instead of their usual one. Everyone in the class was like ????? Artist Review #5(axol)     This is an artist which I found from iXPLODE. My second favorite YouTuber. I use his clan tag in pretty much every .io game I can find. When discovering axol, I immediately played ILY nonstop.     We're not going to talk about ILY, since its not his top three popular songs. D: But we are going to talk about  Bleed – Axol, The Tech Thieves ,  Mars – Axol , and  You – Axol, Alex Skrindo (PS I found Axol with the song "remember")     Ok, I can understand why bleed would be Axol's best song. The beginning so far creates a dramatic atmosphere for the listener. I like how Axol went simple. The piano. If you just listen to the beginning, you won't think it's an EDM song. Comparing my ratings for teachers     Now you may have saw the earlier post on my first day of school. It looked like this: A PERIOD     My PE teacher is the best out of all of them. Bean is lazy, Swyer is lazy, mcone is nice. But Popick is DA BEST. He does make lame "mottos" such as  Your mind is ready, your heart is (i dont remember the rest) . Pretty boring. A little too enthusiastic.  1-3 PERIODS     Christman is also an okay teacher. I'm not that satisfied with getting Christman, but on the other hand, I've seen people get worse. My goal was Scarborough obviously. Anyway, Christman just talks about her life a little too much. She literally spent one period talking about her kids, and stuff. 6.  Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more? Easy, cubing. I'm not sure if it fits "topic, idea, or concept" but I'll just go with it. Anyway, it captivates me because I just want to get my average up. Solve by solve, my average will either go down or up. If down, then that motivation will motivate me for a LONG time. If it goes down, I will assume that it will keep on going down, so then I just keep on solving. Solving till it goes up, and then I have to do even more solves. For example, just today I got in trouble because I was cubing for too long. I was just so motivated on getting my average to sub 38 that I just had to keep going. Going until my sister starts yelling at me. Now when I want to learn more, I turn to my best friend called YouTube . Youtube is great. He helps me a lot. He taught me how to solve a 3x3, 4x4,

My Cubing Competition.....      On Sunday, I began my early birthday by joining a Rubik's cube competition in Berkeley. The events that I joined was skewb, 2x2, and 3x3. Now I had some pretty weird expectations vs. realities. EXPECTATION Something like 2013 world championship, but obviously smaller. I thought there were going to be round tables with people literally just trading and talking and making lots of friends. REALITY Stupid crowded chairs everywhere. The place was packed with people and we literally had to sit in dumb chairs the whole time. No tables. No nothing. No one traded cubes at all and I barely made any friends. EXPECTATION The cube shop was gonna be somewhat like a gift shop. Just a bunch of cubes on shelves and a pretty clean place. You could buy with credit card and like I said, just like a gift shop. REALITY Stupid little table with a few cubes. I asked if they had any 7x7s, and all they had was a stupid sheng shou. I figured I should bu

Getting my 6x6...     I recently got my moyu aofu 6x6. It turns really smooth, though the first two layers can't really speedsolve due to the lockups. I once got a really bad lockup leading to me having to take out five center pieces. But it all worked out. I was pretty lucky too on how it locked up when I was pairing up edges. I don't know how lucky I would've been if I just started solving.      Anyway, the first solve I did took a long time. I had to wrap my mind around it since I was trying not to use any videos. Just my brain. I tried pairing up centerpieces into 2x2 squares, which was pretty good, but not the most efficient. I worked quite well except for the last two edges. The last two edges was a pain. After a looooong time I finally got everything but two centers. -_-. I decided to try the best I could. After all, I shouldn't expect the same results as I did when solving a 5x5. Anyway, I just decided to pair up edges and pretend that all the centers were
