Playlist review #1
Let's just get started
Waves – Retrovision- I'd say that this is the best song of my playlist. It has a great tune, beat and synths. The rhythm and the sudden notes are just my type.
We Are – Kisma- This is one of the songs that I discovered when looking through my new NCS playlists. This song has a great message from the lyrics. I like the voice of Kisma, a new artist that I have never heard of. I really like the analog synth in the background of the chorus.
Meant To Be - RetroVision Remix – Arc North, Retrovision, Krista Marina-This is a typical Retrovision remix. He adds in his own little tune/loop and puts it on an endless loop during the chorus. Retrovision times his loops in the correct position and even adds in his own beat drop to this song.
Over Again – Retrovision, Micah Martin-I reviewed this song in my artist review on Retrovision, so I'll just say the same things. I like the crazy synth break and the gun trigger that brings in a beatdrop/synthbreak. I like the powerful voice even though it says some emotional lyrics.
Sparks – Elektronomia- This song has great panning and a great beginning. It fades out and in during the beginning. I like the sudden cutoffs and stops during the verses. The what hears like a maraca is great.
Rogue – Jim Yosef- This is another with a great beginning. The beat with the fades of the synths. I don't know what else to say about this song.
Skyline – Kovan, Electro-Light-This has been in all of my playlists. I'm not sick of it and I will never be. My sister says that I have listened to this song perhaps abitWAY too many times. It's just everything about this song. It's incredible. Everything about it. HEY SHUT UP ABOUT THE RUN-ON SENTENCES. I KNOW YOUR GONNA JUDGE ME
ILY – Axol-This has been in my past four playlists. I don't know when I'll get sick of it, but it doesn't seem like soon. The main part of this song is the beat-drop. The first time listening to this song leaved me hanging jaw-opened.
Make Me Move - James Roche Remix – Culture Code, KARRA, James Roche-The effort. The effort. The effort. How?? This is James Roche's only hit. The ending is just incredible. The last note goes along perfectly and so is the panning and fade. He improved the beat drop by a numerous amount and his bell tune is great. Seriously.
Black & White – Rudy Mancuso, Poo Bear-Lol. This is the only non-EDM song I have in my playlist. I just like the beginning piano and since this is made by Rudy, I will like it no matter what.
Campfire – Retrovision-This is sorta a Lensko/Crest type of song. Just one tune played over and over again with some transitioning synths and switching up some background tunes. Not saying this in a bad way.
Paradox – Electro-Light, Itro-The bouncing synth effect is well-used. I like how Electro-light somehow got the "ooooo" to work in the background.
Make Me Move - Tobu Remix – Culture Code, Karra-I can't have a playlist without a Tobu song so I chose this one. Tobu changed up this song by repeating one word and making a crispy uprising at the end. I could probably guess that this was Tobu when first listening to it.
Mortals – Warriyo, Laura Brehm-I LOVE THIS SONG. THE VOICE BY LAURA IS BEAUTIFUL AND THE SYNCHRONYCE IS VERY SHARP AND GREAT. NICEEEEEE. The suspense built throughout this song is just unbelievable.
All Falls Down – Alan Walker, Noah Cyrus, Digital Farm Animals-One of Alan Walker's new songs. There's not much synths in this, but I like the tune and the chorus.
We're Invincible – CØDE, Joseph Feinstein-I'm probably going to make an entire paragraph about this song tomorrow, So yeah. Remember that tomorrows post is going to be about that.
