Safari West

Safari West

On Wednesday, I went with my family to Safari West. It was really fun!

Basically you would start off walking with a tour guide and visit this one place. After, you would go on this cart and visit inclosures, OR HOWEVER YOU SPELL IT WHATEVER. You'll see what inclosures are l8er. After the cart ride thing, you were free to go...unless you wanted to visit the place we walked to first.

In the very beginning there was like this panda thingy(*edit found out it was called a "ringtail lemur"*). UGH I DONT KNOW WHAT IT'S CALLED STOP JUDGING

Anyway, when we were with the tour guide, we saw a whole pack of flamingos. They were all squawking and drinking water. Flamingos are weird. Like, their legs are thinner than a tree trunk. IT'S LIKE A STICK OKAY? I KNOW I SUCK AT DESCRIBING THINGS STOP JUDGING.
Click on the picture if it's too small btw

After, we went to this HUGe place. It was filled with trees and stuff. There were so many types of birds in there. We walked in to see a bird like this.
He was so cute! When he was in his egg, his mother ditched him leaving him off with something wrong with his foot. Some people found him, and then ended up getting raised by humans. Therefore thinks that he himself is a human, so he walks with us during the bird tour. OMG. it was literally so heart-breaking when we left the bird place because the bird just wanted to leave with us, but it couldn't :(

There were many types of birds. Birds like

There was this pond filled with different types of ducks that I didn't get to take a picture of sorry.

But I do have a nice little video of the entire bird tour!

The Porcupines were the next animals I saw. I spy with my little eye.....a porcupine!

Yeah, shouldn't be hard.

Next to the porcupine was the cheetah. AWESOME. So cute! Walking in circles. AHH. I came back afterwards and saw the CHEETAH LICKING THE WATER BOWL OMG OGMGOMGOMGOGM

OGMGOMGOMGOGM

I've been writing in caps too much...

Okay, but seriously though, this little animal DESERVES CAPS TO DESCRIBE IT.

AHHHHHHHHHHH CENSORED FOR CUTENESS

jk
IT'S A MONKEYA ERHYAWIOERHAWEIORHAWEIOURAWGHAWEOYIGRAWERYAWERUIG

Afterwards, we went to a different place to see a different view of the cheetahs. One was 16 years old. :O

Next up was these cute little kitties that looked like cheetahs.

My favorite animal?

FENNEC FOX

These little creatures scurry around. They're literally SO CUTE OMG. When they're stressed, they do this:

I seriously don't know what else to say about these cute animals. It's self explanatory

On the way back, we saw these little birds

And then we saw this cute little toucan showing off it's mice that it caught. It seems like the people put dead mice in his cage, and he picks it up and shows off. lol.

https://photos.app.goo.gl/txHY7oiMWkCk314C2    I think I voice-cracked in the beginning of that vid

And now comes the ride! The ride was basically this cart with seats. We would visit inclosures, or this big area fenced. We would go inside by opening a gate and closing it. Oh, and they also named the truck "bender"

The first animal we saw in bender was

Then these cute little piggies:

Seems like they build nests in the mud. And if I can remember correctly, these pigs somehow lay eggs

Then came these:
After this was our first inclosure! We the first section in the inclosure was filled with ostriches and goats(LEBRON JAMES).

Why are ostriches such weird animals? They're like birds, BUT NOT BIRDS. They're necks bending down makes them perfect ballet dancers. jk. The goats were just chilling and eating grass.

Next up was the animal called IDK IT'S NAME. I do know what it looks like though...
Let's play SPOT THE ANTELOPE!
Why hello!
These antelope's horns are so cool! They're different from the regular types of horns
Then came these antelopes that just wouldn't stop pooping. THey would literally face their butts towards us and be like "hey! look at me!". Man...
AHHH BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL ZEBRAS
Isn't it weird to think about how zebras are black with white stripes? wow
Time for the rhinos. These big, fat, slow creatures.
But they're really good in mope.io, or at least used to until a bunch of new animals came out.

We went inside another inclosure to see some antelopes, and the rarest thing happened.
AN ANTELOPE GAVE BIRTH TO A BABY

:O

it was so cute! I didn't catch the moment when the baby was shaking its head.

It started raining, and then all the antelopes just ran back to the barn or whatever you call it. This antelope was the only one on the grass. <3

This was the antelopes running to the barn.

Is there anything cuter than.....
A BABY GIRAFFE

My sister and I revisited the kitty or servel. Whatever it's called.

Honestly, this day trip was such a fun experience! There was a variety of animals(or birds). And the foxes were so cute! I think that https://photos.app.goo.gl/e9bV3KS45pTyJm282 would be a great video to wrap this up. Thanks google photos!
