Playlist Review (oc(REVIVED XXII)

Hey guys. This new oc playlist has a couple of tweaks.

  1. Some Type Of Love – Charlie Puth-Okay, this is kinda embarrassing, but after looking through Charlie Puths album, it's hard to not put this in. A really relaxing tune that really catches my attention.
  2. The Bongo Cat Song – CG5-Why not?
  3. Flutter – Diamond Eyes-http://cavs4tw.blogspot.com/2018/11/flutter-is-emotional-piece-of-art.html
  4. Captain America March – Hollywood Movie Theme Orchestra-A song we played in sixth grade band, that really gave me nostalgia. It's such a good band piece, especially when played by pros. The horns got a lot of representation in this song.
  5. Biscuit – Raven & Kreyn-A repetitive tune, but great. I love synth voices, and the bass is great. Synth pads are added to enhance the tune, and the mini beat drops make it really sound like it was made by Retrovision.
  6. Cake – Retrovision-Speaking of Retrovision, his style is still the same lol. It's really hard to tell apart his songs, just that this one sounds a bit more 'fresh.' The piano is unique, and so are the combination of synths.
  7. Summersong 2018 – Elektronomia-Awesome. Makes me sad that summer is over, but this one, with a whole ton of stutters, is great. The overall melody and happiness of this song is what makes it so great.
  8. Ruby – Jim Yosef, Alex Skrindo-Oh yeahhh. I really don't know what to say, this partnership is awesome, and justis perfect. Everything about it, the melody, beat drop, and all that. Great panning, if I have to say.
  9. Donuts – 2SCOOPS-The synth voice is such an addicting tune to listen to. I gotta admit that the synth break at one point gets really repetitive, but it starts to stay fresh, when it stutters towards the end. What drives me to add this song is obviously the synth voice.
  10. Make Me Move - James Roche Remix – Culture Code, Karra, James Roche-This has been in more than 10 of my OCs, being second place over skyline. Just what a great song, and remix. The original song literally called for remixes, as it was so simple, but we could tell it had a decent melody. Tobu started off with one, that was pretty good, but James Roche put this on a whole new LEVEL. The bells at the end, the wavy synths in the background, the overall synth break is just so good. A whole new melody puts this song on a whole new scale. AH
  11. Phototropic – Chime-A high-quality song with a whole bunch of different loops and synths. It makes you wonder what was going on in Chime's mind when he produced this song. It's just another great song, with a good level of intensity.
  12. Skyline – Kovan, Electro-Light
  13. Thunderstruck – Owl City, Sarah Russell-In my opinion, Owl Cities best EDM song. So great, with the incorporation of Sarah Russell. I feel like Laura Brehm could've made this better, but she's good enough. Adam Young produces a track full of digital synths, with a catchy beat. It makes you feel like the synths are punching a pillow, and the beat drop comes naturally. The effects during the silence of the peak is interesante.
  14. Cloud Ten – Fareoh-The same old high-quality song that is still going in my OCs. The synth solo is just so good.
  15. Harvalien – LarsM-Another song that has been in my OCs for a long time. The melody and hollow analog synth is great, and it's mainly the rise and drop about it that is really good. Found out that LarsM was a guy xD cuz I thought LarsM was the vocalist for Its over or whatever that song is called
  16. Everything – Diamond Eyes-Diamond Eyes is definitely gonna become one of my to 10 artists now, as this song(although flutter came after) is FIRE. I'm not even saying fire to try to be cool, it is literal fire. It's so good. The synth break is just god-like, and Diamond Eyes has made the record of being the first incredible male vocalist for EDM
  17. Mirage – Egzod, Leo The Kind-This trap track is just so high quality. Egzod just goes off towards the end with the epic synth breaks, and rises the intensity level. The choice of wavy synths is questionable, but this is incredible, and I can tell this is gonna stay in the OC chain for a while.
  18. Love U – Razihel-A throwback to NCS infinity. I forgot how good this song was, and this One-hit wonder has a great synth voice with a satisfying beat.
  19. Here We Go – Retrovision-I'm really starting to struggle describing Retrovision songs, even though it should be easy to describe.
  20. No Lullaby – Mountkid-Started supporting this kid after he collabed with JeffreyFever. It's honestly a weird song, with digital synths and vocals. o.0 However, Mountkid creates a good melody(though I hate this beat drop) with a nice bass and (i don't like the synth break. it just bothers me) WHy did I add this? Read the first sentence. It's ok I like the stutters
  21. Hope – Retrovision-seriously
  22. Fast Lane – NIVIRO, PollyAnna-Although I don't really enjoy the vocals, it's Ok, but could be better, the synth break is EPIC(i don't wanna say fire again). NIVIRO realizes that this hook sounds INCREDIBLE, so decides to extend it and put it in the beat drop. The sudden high-to-to low is awesome, and it's just a high-quality song. NIVIRO is an interesting producer, as his songs can really be unique. He really puts in a whole bunch of enhancers and synths during the synth break, cuz you can't hear any opening. I do have to say that the "chorale" is unique and the vocals get good there, but what's better is the transition. NIVIRO takes it slow and DOO DOO DOO. WOAHHHHHHHHHH. The song passes by so fast, and it's a great song.
  23. Starship – Grant-Another great song that I discovered in Discover Weekly. BING BING BONG BONGGGGGG PEE DEE TOO HARD(loll credit to emerson for lyrics). I've never heard of this Grant person, but I can tell he's a great one. I literally get excited when I see this song come up. I love the sad part of the song, as Grant adds that speck, that tweak, that synth liner to really make it sound so good. He adds in that ringy, bouncy, synth during the beat drop and it's the main part of the beat drop. and of course I think that adding in a quiet but noticeable "BOOM" after your beat drop is so underrated and should be used more. AHH
The slow notes really get you, and I have to say again that the sad part of the song is just so good, on point. The clacky feeling though. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention that Grant USES AN ANALOG SYNTH. This song IMo is definitely going on my top 5 songs of ALL TIME.
Grant adds the "boom" every time during a beat drop, something I only love. It's just great.
  24. Kingdoms & Castles – Virtual Riot, tribes.-That one EDM pop song in this playlist lol. The only part of this song I like is the beat drop. the vocals are utter trash, as this nub is literally trying so hard to make it sound dramatic(sorry). The synth break is also utter trash. I really want to remove this, but something about the change in pitch and synth of the break really caught my attention. I would love a karaoke version of this song xDD
  25. Light – San Holo-OHH YEAHHHHH. This playlist is definitely gonna lead in discovery. San Holo puts a great EDM song out there that guess what-MY DAD LIKES. xD he really likes this song lol.
When I first heard this song, I absolutely loved this song, but since this is an EDM song, it's not like I could search up lyrics and ifnd the song. The muffled synth voice lead me to searching up "I just want a suit and tie" and "I just want a seed to lie" and called my sister to help. I was about to cry cuz I couldn't find the song. I had to download shazam. And then guess what, another time THE SONG PLAYED AGAIN AT THE PLACE. AYYYY. I immediately tore out my phone, smashed the power button and swiped quickly with my heads sweating, swiped hecka hard to find the shazam app, and pressed on it. Of couse this samsung galaxy 3 is slow, so it lead to me being like C'MON C'MON! and then when it finally loaded, since I don't have data on that phone, I had to wait until I had wi-fi so that I could find the song. AHHHH

    Ok enough of the storytime

This song has onpoint lyrics, with calm, suttle, and soothing liners, unlike the tryhard vocals before(ahem). I love how San HOlo stutters as a background, and the beat drop is a bit like Zed. The synth break is awesome, with a great transition from loop to loop, and a stutter. At one point, San Holo plays around, something questionable, with a unique beat. I would say that it's cool, unique, and a great transition, but at the same time it makes the song kind of sink. During the solo, the vocalist goes TRYHARD mode, but this time it sounds good. I love the transitions from every step.
  26. The Bongo Cat Song - Extended – CG5-I love it. The original is only like 40 seconds, so I had to add this in. If it wasn't a meme, I legit would love this song despite.

Lyric(s) of the Post: "I'm a cat"
