Anthony Davis trade request

If you're wondering why I haven't posted in more than  a week, it's because I felt like every time I finished writing a post, I would feel like there was something missing. I legit was taking it too seriously. I have three posts written up but I odn't feel like posting it.

Anyway, Anthony Davis has requested a trade.


Here is what I think the Lakers should trade for him.


PELICANS GET:
Ivaca Zubac
Lonzo Ball
Brandon Ingram
2019 1st round pick
Kentavious Caldwell Pope
Michael Beasley


LAKERS GET:
Anthony Davis


I've been watching a good bit of Lakers games recently and found that although Brandon Ingram is good, I'd like to keep Kyle Kuzma a lot. He's really good at scoring and is just a really solid role player that will only get better. KCP has been inconsistent and you have to offer a couple of young guys so throw in Ball and Zubac.

Beasley has been getting barely any minutes, and could use some time in New Orleas so yeah.

Not sure if this will be a successful trade in terms of the Pelicans, but I feel like it's fair enough. Maybe add in Josh Hart or something.

This frees up a lot of roster room so that you could possibly sign players like Carmelo Anthony, Nick Young, Kyrie Irving, Klay Thompson, Kemba Walker and more.

And for all those people I believe that LA needs a shooter, and Klay Thompson, Carmelo, or Nick Young can play that role. They have enough defense so Kyrie Irving could be valuable although I doubt that's ever going to happen because he seems to like Boston.


Anyway, LeBron and Anthony Davis has a relationship, as they have eaten dinner together, are under the same agent, and have been talking recently.

Anthony Davis and LeBron James together IMO is really solid, as they would be unstoppable on the pick and roll. These two are really strong and can drive and kick out and ultimately attract the defense towards them. Davis is also great at defense, and could carry if LeBron somehow gets injured or something.


And for the Pelicans, this is a decent trade. After this trade they can stop the pressure and grind to the playoffs and start rebuilding. Ingram, Zubac, and Ball are all growing and will constantly get better. A pick would help with the rebuilding process. It would also give Jahlil Okafor, who is having a major comeback after being considered a bust, a starting spot. Lots of young talent will occur.




There could also be a potential four team trade with the Celtics and Jazz that completely changes their rosters. It will be big.



Some things to note is that Anthony Davis also wears #23, so what number will he choose?
Anthony Davis and Rondo will also be reunited, unless Rondo is traded away

The Lakers could possibly just hold off Anthony Davis till free agency, keeping their young players and adding a super star.



And by the way none of this would have happened if DeMarcus Cousins didn't freaking sign with the Warriors.
