TheFatRat, Anna Yvette, Laura Brehm, "Chosen"

Chosen – TheFatRat, Laura Brehm, Anna Yvette

An epic thriller containing pride.

TheFatRat experiences with a new type of EDM, and he sure is starting off well.
He invites Laura Brehm, and Anna Yvette, incredible. Often considered the two GOATs of EDM vocalists. Not even joking.
The song starts off strong with no pause. It's like a glitter hollow analog synth.

Then vocals of a chorus are added in the background, and they don't die out when Laura Brehm comes in with her familiar voice. TheFatRat adds slight voice enhancers at some point. Her vocals were definitely chosen right, as she fits perfect in pride.

The beatdrop comes in, and it's a unique one, as he uses a synth as the lead in.

Laura Brehm sings the chorus, although I thought Anna would, but whatever. TheFatRat could make this less simplistic with more synth pads and a bassline.

The beat slaps are definitely fit perfectly, and I just love the occasional chorus ooos.

The transition is great, as it pauses with a trance then goes in like a magical spell. Laura Brehm sings the verse....

Then Anna comes in, with great vocal enhancers that are just fun to listen to. I honestly really wish Anna could've sang for longer.

Perfect. The picollo solo is perfect and "chosen" correctly. At one point it really sounds like a band, with the baritones blowing vibrantly. No trumpet can be heard.

Then it all twists back into the vocal/synth break. The song ends with a small fade then it's back to the band with the Horns in the background along with bells and a chorus. It all cuts off in a perfect ending.

TheFatRat has started a masterpiece in a new type of genre I've never heard of, starring a chorus with a band. It's perfect, and something no one has ever thought of, something he did and shocked us with in his previous songs Monody and Unity.

Laura Brehm's vocals are like I said perfect in this pride song, but I really wish Anna Yvette could've sang at least part of a chorus, but that's fine.

TheFatRat also brings in new types of synths and tests out vocal chops in this thriller.

Scary, but not scary.

Just a sign that EDM could be making another major move.
