Second day of free agency.
- Jimmy Butler
- Kawhi Leonard
- D'angelo Russell
- DeMarcus Cousins
- Danny Green
- Isaiah Thomas
- Enes Kanter
- Al Horford
Those were the people that we had nothing on.
NOW WE DO
- Jimmy Butler-Miami Heat. Sign and trade with the 76ers brings Josh Richardson to the 76ers
- Kawhi Leonard
- D'angelo Russell-Sign and trade to the...WARRIORS. 4 yr 117 max
- DeMarcus Cousins
- Danny Green
- Isaiah Thomas
- Enes Kanter-Celtics, 2 yr 10M
- Al Horford-76ers
And in addition, Hassan Whiteside has been traded to the Blazers for Mo Harkless and Meyers Leonard.
Seth Curry also signed a four year deal with the Mavericks
Knicks have gained Bobby Portis, Julius Randle, Taj Gibson, Reggie Bullock, and Wayne Ellington.
The Pelicans have traded two picks for Derrick Favors
Beverley stays on the clippers for three years
As a part of the D'angelo Russell trade, Andre Iguodala has been traded to the Grizzlies.
Jamal Murray has agreed to a 5 year 170M extension with the Nuggets
Troy Daniels signs a 1 yr, 2.1M deal with the LA Lakers.
These were the two losses I put in yesterday's free agency. Because of a couple of signings, they will now become benefits:
- Boston Celtics. The Celtics have replaced Kyrie Irving and Al Horford with Enes Kanter and Kemba Walker. The Celtics got a steal in a 2 yr 10M with a playoff shining Enes Kanter, and although they lost Al Horford and Kyrie Irving, their chemistry problems will likely be gone with a new face of the franchise leading the team.
- Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers have signed Al Horford and gained Josh Richardson from the Jimmy Butler sign and trade. Their new starting lineup now looks like this.
PG-Ben Simmons
SG-Josh Richardson
SF-Tobias Harris
PF-Al Horford
C-Joel Embiid
Bench: Jonathon Simmons, Mike Scott
They are legitimate East contenders now, and all I can say after the Josh Richardson and Al Horford becoming 76ers is what Max Kellerman said.
