Corona virus (2)

This time/pandemic is very unique, and is something that I will only probably experience once in my life.

So the purpose of this post is to basically talk about everything that's going on right now, so that in the future I can look back on this post and remember this special time.

The corona virus originated from WuHan, China, and is now a global pandemic. What cause this to spread to other countries was because of China's restrictions, lies, and government. The Chinese government knew about this pandemic way before it was public, and wanted to hide it.

I'm not going get into politics that much.

According to various sources, 75% of america is in quarantine, self-isolated. We are encouraged to stay home as much as possible. Schools, gyms, movie theaters, barbershops, park structures and basketball courts, libraries, and more businesses I can't think of are all closed. People are challenged to be creative and workout at home, and do haircuts by themselves.

There have been three times when Disneyland was closed.

1. Assassination of John F. Kennedy
2. 9/11/2001
3. 2020 coronavirus pandemic.

Along with this, the NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, and heck ton of other sports are ALL suspended.

Even through times like this, love and hope seem to overtake the struggles we face.

There are countless of fundraisers, programs, and free premium access to multiple sites to help us cope with the struggles we are facing. That thought alone makes my heart warm.

Enough of this positive stuff, Asian-Americans are being targeted because apparently if your Asian you have the corona virus. Lots of "unprivileged" individuals currently resort to violence so they can exert their frustration about how they can't go outside. Although this virus did come from China, that really doesn't mean Chinese people have the virus smh.

Scientists and doctors are currently trying to find a vaccine for this virus, but we have it within ourselves: Social Distancing.
The 6 feet rule is highly respected by people in my community, as every time I go on a run people are very alert and make sure to keep 6 feet of distance. The lines at banks and supermarkets have a six feet gap between every person, and most supermarkets in my city requires customers to wear face masks in order for them to enter the store. By doing this, they can ensure they safety of their employees and products.

Through all this, there's always going to be stupid people.

#COVIDIOTS is a very popular hashtag on twitter. I've seen dozens of face-palm moments from these related tweets.

https://twitter.com/WFLA/status/1259867354206535681-People protesting gym closures by doing pushups and squats outside the city hall. They are also not social distancing.

There's way more out there.

COVID-19 has also caused lots of businesses to struggle.

To add on, sweet tomatoes and 24 hour fitness are all bankrupt. These two businesses are iconic and will definitely affect my life.

And that's really all I can think of right now. There's definitely way things to talk about. I'll update this post tomorrow.

Lyric(s) of the Post: You'll miss the highs
And my future
All the skies they will all look bluer
Won't sacrifice no more pieces of me
All stops now-JPB
