Thunder vs. Spurs 1/10

What a great game. A thriller.


Watched it go double overtime live..

The Thunder were down by like 15 or something for most of the game, before PG13 and Fergeson began to pop the threes.

So many career highs though.

Let's just name them right now.

Russell Westbrook career high 24 assists.
LaMarcus Aldridge career high 56 points
Jerami Grant career high 25 points
Terrence Fergeson career high 7 three pointers and 21 points career high


And probably some more.

Highest scoring game both individually and in a total.

Incredible game.

Once they started to catch up it really was crazy. Aldridge kept going at it in the second half, going for the turnaround and all that stuff. Incredible.


The Thunder were down three with 50 seconds left, when Westbrook was open for three. He decided to instead pass it to Terrence who was on fire earlier. He knocked it down to tie up the game.

With like three minutes left Steven Adams went back to the locker room after potentially rolling his ankle.

Anyway, with the game tied at 126, White went up for a deep three and that was literally big. Basically sealed the game. Tough shot. There were 21 seconds left, enough for a quick two, which westbrook did.

They then tried to inbound the ball but struggled, so Pop took a time out.

Then something interesting happened.

Terrence Ferguson fouled bellinelli, during the inbound play..

When this happens you take one free throw WITH the ball.

At that point(i wanted the spurs to win) I was really happy, but felt super bad for the Thunder fans. The game was basically sealed. Aldridge made the freethrow and they inbounded the ball to bellinelli.

BUT PG13 came from behind and stole it, then someone fouled him..

Next, down two and around 13 seconds or something left, westbrook lobbed it to Grant who made a layup. five seconds left.

Derozan went for a pretty nice fade away that almost made, but nope. Game goes OT.

In OT Aldridge kept going at it. Westbrook bricked a couple and stuff.

They had a lead of four with one minute remaining in OT, but Westbrook assisted Adams on a NICE dunk after a two point play to tie it up.

With around 27 seconds remaining Derozan went for the game winning shot again, and took use of the side step against defender Paul George but bricked.

ODUBLE OVERTIME.

In the start of DOT Aldridge had a monster block and went coast to coast and finished with a nice layup.

Then Paul George made a tough shot over Aldridge who fouled and it should've been an and one, but no. Paul George was made and literally clapped his hands..
THAT TURNED INTO A TECHINICAL.

Derozan made a nice layup, but with 1 minute and 40 seconds remaining Schroder had a great no look pass to Grant, but BLOCKED by White. Monster block, and when Grant came down he scratched White, causing blood.

Then Spurs just made too many plays and were very great tonight, so they had a four point lead. Ferguson then had a turnover with like 15 seconds remaining that really made me know that it's FINALLY sealed.

They foul Aldridge who makes both of his free throws.

Then PG13 goes up for a CRAZY four point play, fouled and

WAIT.

ok it might not have been a foul BUT THEY FREAKING CALLED A FOUL ON DEROZAN BEFORE THE SHOT.
BRUH

Adams makes the first, then does an incredible incredible WOW YaoMing play. Look at this.

He immediately passes it when in air to PG13, and finally a four point play can come?

nope. bricks. That would've been epic, but just like the Yao Ming one Mcgrady missed the three.

And that's how the game ended.

Crazy game with trash officiating, and I wanted the spurs to win.

I forgot which play but this one play SO MUCH HAPPENED okay anyway

this one play white put up a short and it clearly didn't hit the rim, and it was a 24 second violation. The thing is that Aldridge tipped it out after that rebound, like that matters.

Before you know it the refs took like 10 minutes to review that play.

AND THEY SAID IT WAS SPURS BALL.

THAT DID NOT HIT THE RIM YOU IDIOTS, AND ALDRIDGE EASILY TIPPED THAT ONE OUT WITH HIS RIGHT HAND.
