Tracks I wish were on spotify

Here are some songs I wish were on Spotify.

Porter Robinson - Lionhearted(Virtual Riot remix)

Virtual Riot demonstrates the complexity in his music and the attitude in his basslines once again with this insane remix. The beginning consists of establishing the theme, into a filter swift that leads into the main verse. The analog synth fade in/outs is just too good and Virtual Riot's melodic dubstep in the lead in to the beatdrop just gives me chills. There's so much complexity into the rushes and the analog synths. The Synth Break is when I can seriously do anything I want. the synth pads and chord progression gives the melodic dubstep synth break a new meaning, and its transitions with the growls give this song an incredible feeling. Syncopation, everything. I will always be impressed with Virtual Riot and will always wonder why he isn't more popular.

The chord change in the second verse moves the song. The analog synth rises to the top along with the classic drum shifts Virtual Riot uses in Lunar adds another layer of serious complexity. Then there's a little break with an acid bass and simple droplet synth. Virtual Riot's second drop consists of heavy OTT with the similar melody. Seriously this man's melody just reminds us that music isn't all processing, and is a creative art that is meant to inspire. The OTT splats during the second break just adds intensity and puts everything into a huge lead-in for everything to explode in the final synth drop.

Virtual Riot has established his greatness over his use of the Analog Synth and his ability to create matching melodies with this instrument we all thought he flawed. What a gold song.

The Chainsmokers - All We Know(Virtual Riot remix)

VR starts this one off with a tune, giving the listener the base.

As soon as the digital synths come striking in we know what we're up to. Virtual Riot guides his beat drop with voice chops and a heavy, dominant snare. What makes this song so good is its synth break. The growls in the backdrop just somehow match with the constant locked synth voices, and the vocal chops and the striking synth pads in the background straight up holy cow. The synth pads are insanely produced and its efficiency in guiding the melody of this break is something I simply can't describe.

Once again, VR allows us to take a break during the second verse, adding various effects and small melodies with the base he provided in the beginning. The vocal chop panning reminds us what we're up to, and the sweep into the beat drop begins.

Not only does the volume fade in, but the entire melody does. He maintains the chord progression adds a side-chain bass with heavy OTT. He practically snatches away all signs of life with his ruthless acid bass and its attitude. Adding in the vocals with the perfect amount of vocals was a heart-filling idea, as the synth pads, melodic synth, vocal chops, and vocals bring us into a final look at this rollercoaster track with full-on efforts of constant curiousity within the second synth break.

Tokarev - Fizz

What an incredible lead-in. Contrasting effects and the subtle fade allows the sample to sweep in and lead us to the main synth break, which consists of LO-FI aspects of a jumping synth break. It's just a masterclass of effects and little teasers consisting of contrasting instruments, all guided, blended, and matched by the bass. As we head into the second drop, Tokarev introduces a digital synth. He plays with another digital vibrating synth and adds another vocal sample to lead into the second break, which has a level of deep synth pads. The kick guides the synth pad, which guides the main effects of this song. There isn't much else to say here, but that this is a perfectly executed song in its effects, mixing, and matching.

Slynk - Rubber Ducky

Another song with effects, except for this track features a vibrant beat to aid the bounciness and uneveness of the synth break. The guitar provides a back to the compression of the break, and the song has great creativity in its melody and transitions.

Lyric(s) of the Post:

Flipping out the light trying to survive this endless fight
If we shoot them down, we can make it right, we'll make it right
And they light the sky as they multiply, they multiply
No matter what they try, they won't take away our will to fight
They broke the walls we guarded
But we don't care about it
We'll finish what we started
So promise me that
We'll be the lionhearted
