I haven't been watching much NBA lately but I have been keeping up with just the general news/highlights on twitter. 


However, today was just a crazy day. Yesterday Stephen Curry broke the ALL-TIME NBA 3-point record count. That guy is just insane and somehow he gets better every year. Without him the Warriors would be such a poverty team lol.


  1. ISAIAH THOMAS G-LEAGUE DEBUT - After bouncing around numerous teams after his back injury and getting traded from the Celtics, Isaiah Thomas has been fighting for a chance back on the NBA lights for the past like two years. He made a big step today scoring 42 pts, 8 ast, 6 rb with 53% fg. Although he kind of ruined the Cavs, I will always remember watching his debut for the cavs after a long-awaited return from his injury. He sunk a three and I started screaming "isaiah! isaiah!"

    His G-league teammate Lance Stephenson(NBA vet) scored a triple double too.
  2. OVERTIME THRILLER IN DALLAS - SO MANY THINGS TO TALK ABOUT. Offensive Rebound and Wayne Ellington controls it for the corner three to tie the game!!! In OT, so many things happen. Either way, Dallas is down three with 49 seconds remaining. Shot clock almost expiring and TIM HARDAWAY PULLS UP FROM DEEP AND HITS IT. And then LeBron kicks it out to Westbrook and let's just admire the CONFIDENCE it takes to drain that shot. I'll always respect Westbrook for his confidence. He just airballed the previous shot but he didn't care and he STEPPED UP and took the shot and it was a big one. On the other end the Lakers play terrific defense and force a three from Kleba but it banks in! Third consecutive three-pointer. TIE GAME.

    And Westbrook sees the opening and kicks it out to Reeves FOR THE WIN. THE WHITE ROOKIE SENDS IT. MAN IT MUST FEEL GREAT.
  3. FARTHER THAN JEREMY LAMB - Brandon Ingram is HOT. He demands the ball and rightfully so with 10 seconds remaining and the 1 point lead. It's an iso and he steps up and DRAINS the midrange, showing his inner KD with his scoremaking. 7 seconds remain and Pelicans wittily foul the Thunder in the bonus to shave off time. They did so successfully and with 4 seconds remaining they were looking to foul SGA but he got off a shot (the on-ball defender was so lazy IMO) and it went in. Deep shot and heave, reminds me of some Dwayne Wade game-winners with that form. 

    With 1.3 on the clock and no timeouts, in any other game it was over. The players were getting into the OT mindset when Devonte Graham scurries and BURIES THE 3/4 COURT SHOT TO WIN THE GAME AT THE BUZZER. I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS BEFORE. JOEL EMBIID AND (I FORGOT WHO ELSE) HAS BEEN CENTIMETERS AWAY FROM A SUCCESSFUL FULL COURT GAME-WINNER BUT DEVONTE GRAHAM HAS DONE IT AND THE PELICANS COME OUT VICTORIOUS BECAUSE OF IT. WHAT THE HECK.

NBA Basketball is always exciting. There's so much more going on but I don't have to the time to go over it.
